The Awards

There's no doubting we are an enterprising bunch. Our region is packed with creative, innovative businesses and individuals whose imagination and determination to succeed make Manawatu the fantastic region that it is. The Westpac Manawatu Business Awards recognise and celebrate the achievements of our region's outstanding business people. They set the benchmark for business excellence and provide an opportunity to showcase local business talent.

WHATS THE PROCESS?

• Businesses are nominated anonymously online


• There are six categories, one Supreme Award winner, a Workplace Safety award and individual awards. Click here.


• Application forms are available to download online. Click here.


• Nominees are told what category they were nominated into and why.


• Business Fit workshops are held to introduce nominees to the awards framework and assist them in preparing a winning entry.


• Applications are submitted.


• Applications are judged. Some businesses may be visited by our judges.


• Businesses are announced and celebrated at the Awards Night.
